The detector cable guard is designed to ensure that the cable plug is aligned properly so that noise and false signals at the Control Box are eliminated.
The Plug and Cable are protected from damage during transport or when the detector is on the ground.
The Guard is made from "Engineering Plastic" and is secured to the handle with Stainless Steel screws and nuts (304).
